Prepare a Presentation
Prepare your presentation: build a timeline, convert word count into speaking time, and generate cue points for your talk. Runs in your browser.
Your progress is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers. Third-party resources (e.g. advertising and analytics from Google/Cloudflare) may transfer data when loaded.
This workflow guides you through the following steps:
- 1. Create a timeline for your topic Create a timeline for your topic, e.g. history, earth history or literary periods. It will be the visual basis of your handout.
- 2. Convert word count to speaking time Paste your text into the Word Counter. For a talk, assume about 110 to 130 words per minute, e.g. 125 words per minute as an average.
- 3. Rehearse to your target time Set your target time in the Countdown Timer and rehearse your talk out loud until you stay within the limit.
- 4. Turn timeline and notes into a handout Convert the timeline and your notes into a printable handout via the Image to PDF converter.
