Finish Audio and Video for YouTube and Podcast
Prepare your recording for YouTube and podcast: shorten pauses, correct subtitles and check chapter markers. Then create an audiogram and, if needed, a music video for Shorts and Reels.
Your progress is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers. Third-party resources (e.g. advertising and analytics from Google/Cloudflare) may transfer data when loaded.
This workflow guides you through the following steps:
- 1. Trim silence Shorten thinking pauses and dead air in your recording to a natural remaining length and listen to the detected pauses.
- 2. Clean up subtitles Open the SRT or VTT file, correct timing offset and drift, check readability and export in either format.
- 3. Mark chapters Build your chapter list, check YouTube rules such as the 00:00 start and minimum duration, then copy the finished block into your video description.
- 4. Create a waveform image Create an audiogram from your audio file with a title and brand colors for feed and community posts.
- 5. Render a music video Combine images with the audio track to make a video for Shorts and Reels.

What you get at the end
A trimmed recording with clean subtitles, valid YouTube chapters, an audiogram for social posts and an optional music video.
Why these steps in this order
First get the recording sounding right, then make it understandable and easy to navigate. Subtitles and chapters come after editing because their timestamps refer to the finished version.
