Combine multiple photos into one consistent A4 PDF

Do you photograph documents or pages one by one and want to combine them into a single PDF that looks the same everywhere? The A4 Images to PDF tool merges any number of images into one PDF and forces every page to the exact A4 size. You get a clean, consistent result instead of a PDF with differently sized pages that look messy when printed or shared.

Processing runs fully locally in your browser. Your photos and documents never leave your device, are not uploaded to a server, and are not stored. You can handle sensitive receipts, contracts, or IDs without any concern. Common image formats like JPEG and PNG are supported.

How it works

Select multiple images, for example photos of the individual pages of a contract. Click Create A4 PDF. The tool creates one page per image and sets every page to the exact A4 size. Each image is placed proportionally and centered, preserving the aspect ratio. The result is a single PDF file with uniform pages that print and share cleanly.

Orientation and fit

You can choose the orientation as needed: Auto orients each page to the image (portrait or landscape), or you can force everything to portrait or landscape. You also decide whether the image is fitted at full size with a margin or whether the A4 page is filled completely. A small margin usually looks cleanest for documents.

Why consistent A4 pages matter

Photographed pages often come in mixed sizes: some landscape, some portrait, some with a different aspect ratio. When simply joined together, each page creates its own paper size. When printed, each page then has a different feed direction or size, and the scanner or printer may reorder pages or cut off content. By forcing the A4 format, the document looks scanned and stays consistent everywhere.

Use cases

  • Multi-page documents: Photograph each page of a contract or letter and combine them into one PDF.
  • Receipts and invoices: Collect photographed receipts for bookkeeping in a single, uniform file.
  • Archiving: Digitally store documents that only exist as paper or photos, in a clean A4 format.
  • Applications: Combine certificates, resume and references from photos into one document that looks the same everywhere.
  • Travel documents: Bundle tickets and booking confirmations as photos into one clear PDF.

Privacy and climate

Everything happens on your device. No upload, no account, no data transmission: everything stays on your device. Each locally generated PDF avoids a server request and thereby saves unnecessary traffic and energy. So you also make a small contribution to relieving data centers, as the IEA energy agency summarizes for local tools.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats are supported?

The tool supports common formats like JPEG and PNG. Other formats such as GIF or SVG are not processed.

Are all pages really A4?

Yes. Every page is set to the exact A4 size regardless of the original image size. This produces a consistent document.

Can I change the order of the pages?

Yes. Select the images in the desired order before creating the PDF. They appear in that order in the PDF.

Is the aspect ratio distorted?

No. Each image is scaled proportionally and centered. Nothing is stretched or squashed.

Are my images uploaded?

No. All images are processed entirely locally in the browser and are neither stored nor transmitted anywhere.

How many images can I use?

You can use any number of images. Each gets its own A4 page in the PDF.
