Engagement Rate Calculator
Calculate engagement rate with an explicit denominator: followers, reach or impressions. Bulk mode computes several posts from a CSV.
Your inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers. Note: third-party resources (e.g. advertising and analytics from Google/Cloudflare) and an optional PayPal donation link may transfer data when loading or when clicked. Browser extensions or plugins may be able to read content that is visible in the input fields.

Calculate engagement rate: followers, reach or impressions
The engagement rate depends heavily on the denominator. Enter your interactions and choose whether to divide by followers, reach or impressions. The calculator shows the result in percent and explains what the chosen denominator means: followers measure the bond with your existing community, reach the effect on people actually reached, impressions how often each contact happened.
In bulk mode you paste a CSV with several posts and get a rate per post plus the average. That shows which posts sit above or below your baseline. All values stay local in the browser, no account and no upload.
Frequently asked questions
Which denominator is right?
It depends on your question. For community loyalty divide by followers, for the impact of a single post by reach, for total intensity by impressions. The important part is comparing posts only with the same denominator.
Which interactions count?
Commonly likes, comments, shares and saves combined. Some people add clicks. Pick one definition and stick with it, otherwise the numbers are not comparable.
How is the CSV structured in bulk mode?
Three columns: post, interactions and denominator value. The calculator detects comma, semicolon and tab as delimiters and reports which rows it skips when values are missing.
