Estimate photovoltaic feed-in income
This calculator estimates the feed-in income of a photovoltaic system. Enter system power, specific annual yield and the tariff valid for your system. The tool works out annual yield, the amount fed in and the expected income over 20 years.
The feed-in tariff depends on the EEG rules at the time of commissioning and on system size, and changes every year. That is why you enter the rate valid for your system yourself; an example value is pre-filled.
The result is a guide value. Only the amount actually fed in is paid; self-consumption lowers your electricity costs instead.
Frequently asked questions
What is the current feed-in tariff?
As of 1 August 2026 new systems up to 10 kWp receive 7.70 ct/kWh with partial feed-in and 12.22 ct/kWh with full feed-in. The rate depends on the commissioning period and system size. Please enter the rate valid for your system.
Is self-consumption paid?
No. Only the amount fed into the grid is paid. Self-consumption lowers your electricity bill instead.
Are my inputs stored?
No. All calculations run locally in your browser; nothing is transmitted or stored.
