Coin flip & decision maker
This tool flips one or more coins or randomly picks an option from your list. It settles small decisions such as heads or tails, yes or no, or chooses among several choices.
Two modes
- Coin flip: Flip between 1 and 20 coins and see the result.
- Decision maker: Enter options (one per line) and let one be chosen.
Handy for everyday questions, games or when you simply cannot decide. The result is purely random and generated locally in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
How does the coin flip work?
The coin flip simulates tossing between 1 and 20 coins and shows heads or tails for each one. The result is purely random and generated directly in your browser.
What is the difference between the coin flip and the decision maker?
The coin flip tosses 1 to 20 coins and counts how often heads and tails appear. The decision maker instead picks a random option from a list that you enter yourself. Both modes help you settle a small decision.
How many coins can I flip at once?
Between 1 and 20 coins per throw. For multiple coins the tool also shows a summary of how many times heads and tails came up.
Is the result really random?
Yes, each coin is tossed individually with equal probability, and the randomness is generated locally in your browser. There is no prediction or manipulation.
Can I add my own options to pick from?
Yes, in the decision maker mode you enter one option per line, for example lunch spots or weekend plans. The tool then picks one entry at random.
Are my entries stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs 100 percent locally in your browser, and your options are neither saved nor sent to a server.
